SNJD recently had the privilege of hosting Ms. Shanta Laxmi Shrestha, Advisor of LWF Nepal, for an insightful visit. The day was filled with meaningful discussions focused on several key empowerment and development approaches aimed at uplifting local communities.

Ms. Shrestha shared her expertise on the 3E Empowerment Model, Locally-led Development, and Gender Mainstreaming through the Twin Track Approach. These frameworks are designed to create sustainable and inclusive change, with an emphasis on local leadership and community ownership.
Additionally, she explored the 5P Approach for assessing empowerment projects, reinforcing the importance of evaluating impact and outcomes at every stage of development.
Her visit also included a tour of the PCT Center and a meeting with the Women’s Group at Gaurigunj Rural Municipality. During this visit, Ms. Shrestha had the opportunity to engage in a productive discussion with Ms. Phulwati Rajbansi, Chairperson of Gaurigunj Rural Municipality, on how to further enhance local development initiatives and promote gender equality in the region.

This collaboration underscores our commitment to empowering communities and building sustainable partnerships for a better future. We look forward to continuing our work with local leaders and partners to drive meaningful change.
