Social Network for Justice & Development (SN-JD), a community-based organization working with marginalized, disaster-affected, and vulnerable communities since 2008, invites applications from qualified and committed Nepali citizens for the following position under the project “Social and Economic Prosperity through Community-led Research and Innovation, and Local Initiative for Community Empowerment & Development (LICED)”.

Position: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)

Duty Station: Birtamode Contact Office (Extensive Field Work)

Reports to: Program Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to farmer groups, micro-entrepreneurs, and vocational trainees.
• Facilitate Farmer Field Schools and promote improved agriculture practices (organic farming, IPM, post-harvest management, climate-smart technologies).
• Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of livelihood and enterprise activities.
• Conduct regular field visits, coaching, mentoring, and joint monitoring.
• Ensure inclusion of women, Dalits, minorities, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable households.
• Maintain proper documentation and comply with safeguarding and organizational policies.
  
  Required Qualifications & Experience:
• JTA graduate or I.Sc. Agriculture with minimum 3 years of relevant field experience.
• Experience in agriculture, livelihood, and enterprise development.
• Strong facilitation, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MEAL systems and basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently in rural areas.
